I’ve been kind of neglecting Estrella lately.  Part of the reason, to be totally immature and shallow, is because ever since Klar and her friends made their trio of unicorn boys, there’s been a huge surge in unicorn people OCs.  And it feels like Estrella’s just another one, even though I’ve had her since December 2001.

Yes, I’m ridiculously petty and self-conscious.

I think everyone toting around their OCs feels the same way, we just keep to to ourselves because we know it’s silly.

Anyway, her story is still mostly the same for those that know it, and her design hasn’t changed in nine years because I think she’s just perfect.  I really want to work on Bii’s role in the story (and his design, because I really suck at what I need done with him).  I’m also thinking of introducing my My Little Pony OC, Lockette, as a character with a human form as well.

She’s on my mind a lot today because I’ve been listening to Owl City lately and I just realized that this line from “Vanilla Twilight” is literally just like her:

When violet eyes get brighter
And heavy wings feel lighter
I’ll taste the sky and feel alive again

It’s just very inspiring to work on her a little bit. ♡~
